PNYE strikes again!

super wasted & one hit wonder woman

Going on it's 17th year, Misty's Procrastinator's New Years Eve party was once again a total blast!

This year Misty rented out Club Six and this year's theme was "Be Your Own Superhero/Evil Villian". Everyone's costumes were so incredible!

I, of course, waited till the very last minute to put my costume together (honestly barely rallied myself off my couch, but knew I couldn't miss this one!), and after finding a skimpy dress & some trashy heels in my closet, and laying my makeup on thick, I thought 'hmm, what could I be?'

Next thing I knew, I was smearing bright red lipstick off to the side, tacking my hair up all messy-like, and was transformed into *dun! dun! du duuun!* "Super Wasted!" haha! (I was also saying I could have easily just gone as "Super 6th St" cuz I fit RIGHT in down there on cracked out 6th Street! I swear nobody even looked at me twice.)

View all my photos from the party. And I've even posted the videos, too!

Want to see photos from PNYE years past?

Last year was 'White Trash Fairy Tale', that unfortunately I was out of town for.
And the year before that, 2005, was 80's Prom (my photos) (my first PNYE!), which was soooo fun! Misty's photos of that one are here.

Costume parties rule & so does this group of friends. Thank you sooo much Misty & Ted for throwing this awesome bash! You guys are my superheros! xo

holiday festivities

A Picture Share!
all dolled up

Lastnight Ev, Sara, Chris & Mai put on a spectacular holiday party! They called it a Holiday 'Tea Party' because they had it on (cited from the invite) "December 16th to celebrate not only the traditional end-of-year holidays but also (looks at Wikipedia), um ok, hey, the 233rd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. We can each commemorate the Tea Party's act privately. Our mouths can be like the harbor. Our liquor can be like the tea. Our hands can be like, like, like -hm- aggrieved patriots engaged in non-violent protest committing treasonous acts but who are also totally into giving gifts to loved ones."

haha! Awesome.

Evan & Sara held it at their new place. A 'penthouse' downtown, that is breathtaking and something out of a movie where you are envying the character's amazing, impeccably designed city apartment the whole time. Oh & we didn't get to see it because it's not installed yet - but it was *very* fun to learn yesterday that (just as I expected) Ev & Sara were the ones to purchase Courtney's amazing cloud bed! I hope I get to see it all set up in it's new home. I love (and Courtney does to) that it stayed within the 'family'. Now she can go visit her creation instead of having to say goodbye forever. Very cool.

I got to see a ton of great friends and honestly I wish it could have gone on longer. It was fabulous.
Thank you E, S, C & M! xo
