parties galore!

I worked the entirety of last weekend's 3 day holiday weekend, so this weekend I must have been making up for it because it was parties galore! I actually was invited to three on Saturday and two on Sunday... let the fun begin!

First of all, Saturday I had a feeling I'd only get to one of three, which was fine. So, around 4pm Ali & I headed over to Kristen's house with a bag full of white wine, beer, sausages and sweets for a good ol' fashioned BBQ. Ryan showed up a little later and I got to hang out w/ my good friends Stig & Matt, in addition to meeting some other cool new people there. It was my first time meeting Paul's baby, and she is ADORABLE! So although the album has shots of my friends & I, it's largely cutie baby Ella. :)

Buzzed & ready to party some more, we all headed to the Gold Cane in the upper Haight. There aren't many photos of the evening past dusk, since my damn camera's flash doesn't work anymore, but I think Tantek (who showed up later) may have some - and I think Ryan might have a few, too. Anyway, there we had many drinks and even played a game - Quibble? Mario & John met us there, and Buzz showed up later. Pretty fun night!

After a pretty raucous Saturday night and already having gone to one party, I didn't think I was going to last long at Matt's... but it turned out to be so fun, that next thing I knew it was 8:30! Which was only a concern because I had to get to a show! :)

Ali & I had tix to see Giant Drag & Pretty Girls Make Graves @ GAMH, and it was SO GOOD!!!! I was still all dressed up from Matt's formal cocktail bday party, which was odd since I'm usually at shows in t-shirt, jeans & converse, but hey something different I suppose! :) The show was great and overall a fabulous crescendo to an amazing weekend!
