hard drive is dying AGAIN

I've been having some major problems with my powerbook here lately. What has seemed to be more core issues, that are slowing down the OS X more than anything, making things freeze up for no reason, (insert more annoying issues that effect productivity). So, I've worked extensively over the last few weeks font pruning, trashing preferences, clearing out misc. stuff from my startup menu, running disk repairs, macjanitor, restarting every day, sometimes 2x/day, etc... all to no avail.

So lastnight I backed up & just now before restarting, I thought I'd run a Disk Utility Repair, and check out what it's telling me:

lovely

For those of you who've been reading, even if only for only a mere couple months, you may recall I *just* had the hard drive replaced in February! arg!

Looks like I'll be needing to send this puppy away again. I *so* need a backup powerbook for when this happens! Who woulda thunk it'd happen again only 3 MONTHS later? JEESHK!

:::::

UPDATE: Apple is sending a box out to come & get it. And my awesome friend Mario is letting me borrow a Mac Mini for the time being. However, I do think I'll take his advice & swing by the Apple store today & see if they won't just hand me a new MacBook Pro. Hell, I'd even take the latest Powerbook they have laying around! Anything to get rid of this lemon! I've had way too many problems in the short 2 years with this damn thing. arg!

Anyway... enough ranting. I'm so behind on work (I'm on my PC now, while I update the software & install my backup on the mac mini), that this time suck is the last thing I need. *sigh*

Thanks for all your feedback & support guys!
