If you're looking for something to do tomorrow night, and you're not invited to my super cool friend's housewarming party - then you should go to this show at Cafe Du Nord for me:Stars w/ The Dears & Rogue Wave.
I saw Stars (sfstation review) open for Broken Social Scene last year (my review) and loved them. I said it once and I'll say it again - Amy Millan has a beautiful voice!!
I haven't heard of The Dears, but they're Canadian... and they're playing with 2 other great bands. I mean, really - you can't go wrong there, can ya?
And then of course my boooyyyzzz (and cutie Sonya girrrl) Rogue Wave are opening too! Go rock and dance and hoot & holler like I would for them, would you please?! :)
So ya, I'd go - but I have a big important housewarming party to go to that I wouldn't miss for the world. Well, that - and I'm probably not going to drink and going to come home early from that anyway so I get better!
So go for me, k? It'll be a great show - you'll like it - I promise!
