UI Idiocy
uuuuuugggg. One of THE most annoying UI f-up's is the goddamn MP3.com site. Everytime I arrive there to listen to a band (i.e I went to hear Operatic's MP3's *update below*) and upon arriving there, hit play "hi-fi play all" and it takes me to the sign-in page.. but WHERE is the Log-in for existing members?!?!? I already have an account - and wouldn't it be advantageous for MP3.com to put the goddamn log-in right there so that people aren't signing up over & over & over again?! Just a wee little link that says "already have an account?" or "sign-in" UG!!
You can actually find the sign in for existing members, but it takes FOREVER cuz of course it's in no sensible place. SO, for all of our future reference, here it is. I basically had to go to site map | my account | and then there's a wee little button at the bottom that you click & it takes you to the sign in page.
Man oh man that is annoying. And yes, I've already written to them expressing my humble opinion on the matter. Maybe you could send yours, too?
And if I've missed something here & I've made it more complicated, by all means - enlighten me.
*update: I hit operatic's site from a link on some girl's site, but I don't think it's very good now that I've (finally) listened to it. All these type of bands sound the same after awhile!
Go listen to Shannon Bryant instead. Shannon's sound is very bossanova/jazz... and I partied with her a couple weeks ago & she's really cool. She'll be singing at Yerba Buena gardens on 6/16 around noon!!
