Postcard Collectors Unite!
Oh my gawd!! There's a word for what I am! Or rather, what I do!! I haven't really considered myself a collector per say, but the shoeboxes of postcards probably tell otherwise :)
Deltiology: The collection and study of postcards.

You prolly didn't even know I did this. The only sign of it in my life would have been if you'd been to our place on Utah St... My shower curtain was the kind you could stick photos & postcards such in pockets. So, I was psyched - I got to show off some of my closet obsession with my coveted glossy, designed, 4x6 postcards. Well, it all started with those MaxRacks & GoCard stands (free postcards in restaurants and bars)... that got me years ago. For some reason pack-rat, design absorbent, life documenter Willo thought it was a good idea to start grabbing 3-5 of each cool one I saw. And I do have some pretty cool ones... I have two shoe boxes full... and I did go through once and clear a few out... but I still have lots that I can't part with. Not yet anyway :) And everytime I go on a VK I buy way more than I ever send... so I have small stacks from Spain, London, Seattle, Hawaii, Steamboat, etc...
Oh my gawd! There's a whole underground! See, I'm not so weird! I'm actually totally NORMAL compared to these people! hahaa
Update: Actually a friend pointed out that instead of making websites for postcards, I make them for my cat - and other cats. Who's weirder now? hahaaa
