*sniff* *sniff*
I can hardly believe it, but looks like one* of my favorite internet radio stations,
WOXY (aka 97X), is shutting down for good. This station has turned me on to so many great new bands... I am very sorry to see it have to shut down. Money is so stupid sometimes.
*Thank goodness for
Bagel Radio!
Here's
Ali's post about the sadness. *sniff* We'll be spilling a little bit of our drinks on the floor tonite in honor. We'll miss you, WOXY!

The new ones span from me as a little girl to High School (89-93), to College in Denver ('94), a few from Boulder (post college ~95), and a few from when I lived in LA for 4 months before moving up to SF in 1996. And then even a few from the first couple years I lived here ~96-98, which is when I met Matt (who, in case you don't know, was my boyfriend from 99-03, but we're still close friends).

I actually really love that I have a blog so that I can keep track of what I did and where I went. I call it my 'digital memory', and have often been bummed that I don't have details written down from earlier points in my life. For example, I remember I went to some camp when I was in High School... and there are names and specifics (like where in California was the camp located?) that I feel like nobody else will ever be able to fill in for me. I love documenting. Who knows where the digital world will take us in the next 20+ years, but IMO, kids today are lucky to have such ready access to these things!

I always work from home (wfh), so today I thought I'd change it up & I came down here to work at
Ritual. I usually dislike the cafe experience for one reason or another, and therefore rarely do it. I mean, honestly, I've got a seriously kick ass set up at home: Not only can I make myself a yummy, healthy breakfast, lunch & dinner, but I get to hang w/ my kitty all day, go pee whenever I want*, and my huge monitor/wireless mouse/keyboard setup is way more comfortable than working w/ my Powerbook & using its keyboard all day (I do bring a mouse w/ me though). And there's NO cafe chair that can hold a candle to my amazing work-for-14-hours-straight-and-never-get-sore Aeron. BUT, all that said, I've actually really enjoyed working here today. My only gripe? I sure wish they had fresh salads! The only thing to eat here is BREAD and SUGAR. ug.
*While IM'ing w/ my friend
Dennis he said something about always being nervous when you have to pee, cuz it's hard to just leave all your stuff set up while you go real quick. I told him I could relate, as just a bit ago I finally bit the bullet & asked two (separate tables) people to watch my stuff for me. They seemed nice & trustworthy, and I figured asking two of them is good, so they can watch eachother, toO! But on a day like today, where my iPod was already stolen this morning, you can bet I was more than a little nervous.
Dennis had a hilarious idea though... he said on IM "ooo good idea... there should be a service, like you load up a webpage, and if it notices that it disconnects, it txt's you. igottagopeesowatchmylaptop.com." HA! Then he wrote, "and it also alerts anyone else in that cafe that's logged into the service, WILLO'S LAPTOP IS BEING STOLEN! Please HELP! (she's peeing.)" hahhaa! Oh yoooo soooo funny, Dennis! :p Dennis is one of my favorite internet friends. He's my friend in real life, too, but we're really good IM buddies. :)
Umm, can I just say.. there are a LOT of cute boys here today. hech hemm. Ok, back to work.
How bad does this suck: My iPod got stolen at the gym this morning!!!!!
HOW? Well, I'm not really sure I have an answer for this... as can only explain what I thought I had done. It was kind of a twilight zone thing. It of course wasn't right on my body - I had taken it off to do abs. But I could have sworn I put it in my bag. All I know is I did my abs & stretching & next thing I knew, I got up to leave & it was gone.
uggg. SUCH a bummer!

Awesome that you guys are so into these questions! They are definitely hard and bring up a lot of questions, especially if - like me - music is a huge part of your life and potentially a big part of deciding if someone is right for you!
Thanks again to my friend Chris who sent these to me initially. Honestly his email's been sitting in my inbox for a few months now, and I figured the only way I'd answer them was to do it this way, so it's fun to have you guys answer along with me!
Now, without further adieu, music snob question #2:
"You're going through a phase where you are going out and hooking up with people. You don't like doing that, you're in a stage where you want it to change, but one morning you wake up in a strange bed. You're woken because the person you're next to is getting up in the morning and you feel ashamed for going back on your word to yourself. You hear the person starting the shower, hear the blinds open, hear some rattling in the kitchen...and you're looking at your phone for the time, plotting on how to leave...but then you hear the person put a record on the turntable (the hiss sound prior to the music) and then the song that starts playing actually makes you change your mind about wanting to get out of there. What song could make you change your mind about a perceived mistake? (remember, it would have to be on vinyl, and more likely than not, the first song on one of the sides)"
This one's pretty tough for me personally, as honestly I have never owned a record player, and I'm so into the latest music (last 2-5 years) that I couldn't even be sure the album I am selecting was even released on vinyl... but in the interest of spitting out an answer, I'll at least list the first song on an album that would make me think twice and want to get to know this person better.
My answer is: "Fairlee" from Matt Pond PA's The Nature of Maps (2004) -
iTunes linkoy.. that was hard! Honestly all the first tracks on Matt Pond PA CD's are good, especially "Halloween" off of Several Arrows Later... but Fairlee is one of my favorite songs.
Runners up for me were:
- Cloud Cult (except the first song on Advice From The Happy Hippopotamus is called "Intro", so technically it's #2 that I'd need to hear, called "Living on the Outside of your Skin")
- The Wrens' "The House that Guilt Built" off of The Meadowlands (2003)
- Band of Horses, appropriately titled "The First Song" off of Everything All The Time (2005)
Added 8/29: I knew my kick ass music snob friends would have some badass answers... and most of them have selected stuff they know would be on vinyl. Awesome. I'm delighted to be put to shame by the musicphiles around me! You guys rule. :p
So, I left this comment on Ali's & thought it was worth posting here, too. For my answer I tried to pick songs that made me think, "wow, this guy knows good music" in a "wow, he's into awesome new music and would be into going to shows, too, probably" kind of way. Most classics like Steely Dan - or more slightly mainstream accessible stuff like Elliot Smith & Wilco, I feel like anyone might have layin around, ya know? That said, (one of) Ali's selections, Jeff Buckley, is a great choice because his fan base are pretty true, appreciative music fans (and fans of his work). Anyway... it's interesting to see what angle people approach this... so just thought I'd illustrate out my thought process behind my selections.
OK, your turn!

music snob question #1
Friday, August 25, 2006
I'm going to be posting a series of music questions my friend Chris posed to me recently. You don't have to be a music 'snob', per say, I was just trying to think of a name for this series since there's about 10 of them, and that's what came to mind. :)
If you want to participate (
meme!), please post your answer in the comments - or post your answer on your blog & provide a link to it in my comments.
"If you were just starting to date someone that you felt had real potential - he/she's nice, he's funny, seems at ease, shares general sensibilities with you...and one day early in the relationship, you check out his cd collection (I'm excluding the iPod dilemma for this question) and you discovered that he has pretty decent taste, but you're on the fence about whether he is someone you'd like to continue with...what combination of three artists in his collection would make you say, "um, no."?"
Hmm, this is tough because when you have a collection as large as mine, and assumably someone's been collecting music for a good 15 years at this point, there can be some seriously questionable titles in the collection. But, for sake of answering this - and considering it's a combination of three, here's my answer:
Backstreet Boys, Nelson and John Tesh.
OK, your turn. :)

For all of us who lust over McDreamy during
Grey's Anatomy (new season premieres on 9/21!), I highly recommend watching
Lucky Seven. I just happened to catch this movie on Lifetime (yes, it's a made for TV movie on Lifetime. hahaa), and it's actually pretty cute. But the best part is, you get to watch Patrick McDreamy Dempsey for 2 whole hours. yumm!

UPDATE: Scroll to the bottom of this post to see the books I'm currently reading.
When I originally posted this in August, 2006, I was reading:
And before that, in order for the most part:
Probably forgot a few... but that was most of what I read in 2006.
I mostly read when I'm traveling (actually the audiobook binge was when I did 2 road trips within a couple months), or when I'm at the gym. It's funny because I was super busy & stressed last fall & I see a big hole in my reading there because I wasn't going to the gym as much. Anyway... listing this out is fairly revealing to who I am. I like light-hearted reads, but I also am a total geek, and am someone always striving to better myself in my life and in my career. That about sums it up, right?
:::::
UPDATED 3/5/07: In effort to keep up my book list, I am going to keep adding to this post. I've now read:
- The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous & Broke
- Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit
- The Tender Bar: A Memoir - favorite book of 2006!
- A TON of graphic novels/comics, thanks to my friend Kevin who lent them to me.
- King Dork - such a FUN read!
- The Life of Pi - didn't like this
- The Bean Trees - really enjoyed this
- History of Love - Going to start tracking how long it takes me to read each book & this one I started 3/5/07 & finished 4/4/07. Exactly a month! Probably a fairly common pace for me, but we'll see as I start tracking them more.
- A Long Way Down
- started 4/6/07 & finished 4/19/07 - wow, that was fast! You can tell I have been going to the gym regularly. ha. - This Book Will Save Your Life
- started 4/20/07 & finished 5/12 on VK in Maui - Currently in book limbo... I tried to start Son of the Circus, but couldn't get into it. I'll keep ya posted!
- Middlesex
- started 6/15/07 & finished 8/25/07. This one took me awhile, as I have to admit I didn't really like the first 1/2 of it all that much. The book finally got interesting for me around page 350 or so, thankfully & the final quarter of it made it worth reading. - The 4-Hour Workweek...gah, I have to keep updating this later, gotta run! :)

hahahaa! i love this:
"As a secondary topic, I would just like to briefly revive my rant about people who don't watch TV and feel the need to tell you that. Some of the not-watching TV people are just as bad as the Jesus people with the constant mentioning of their non-relevant belief system.
1. Normal person says something about the weather. Insane Lifestyle Mentioner says that it's a bright and sunny day because his relationship with Jesus Christ makes it sunny in his heart, and that is where the real true weather is anyway. Normal person nods and leaves the room, secretly wanting to say something like, 'Hey, Jesus and I had a long talk the other day and he loves you? But as a friend? Like, he cares about you a lot but he think it would be good to see other people? Also, he'd like his sweater back.'
2. Normal person makes a joke about work team being like the A-Team, and references driving the van. Insane Lifestyle Mentioner asks, 'Was that on TV? Because I don't own a TV. I haven't watched TV since I was a child. I have better things to do with my time than sit in front of the television.' Normal person nods and leaves the room, secretly wanting to bash the ILM over the head with an Urkel doll. Oh you don't have a TV? Well I don't have a neurotic need to trumpet my imagined intellectual superiority. All this means is that I can whip your ass in BOTH the 'Reflexivity in Chomskyan Linguistics' and the 'Great One-Liners From Freaks And Geeks' trivia categories. So step off.
Ahem."
- from mimi smartypants
I too hate the "intellectual superiority" people try to front by saying they don't watch TV. I mean, I don't have any problem with people who don't watch TV, but honestly, I hate people that spin it as this *evil* thing! I actually really like a few shows and enjoy relaxing, and being entertained by some of the crazy (Flavor of Love comes to mind - what a trainwreck! ha!) & super funny (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - f*in hysterical!) shows on TV. And I think the dramas (E.R., Grey's Anatomy) really make you think, and might even teach you a little bit somehow about life, relationships, etc.
Granted, I am NOT into people who get home from work & flip the tube on to drone out all night. And, as you all know, I'm a huge believer in TiVo - aka not being a slave to TV & being able to watch what you want, when you want it... kinda like DVDs. I'm just sayin' skip the high & mighty "I don't watch TV" crap with me. Go boast somewhere else. Thank you. Goodbye.

flyer i designed a few weeks ago
Originally uploaded by Willo.
This cool couple got married @ City Hall, went to Italy for a month on honeymoon & then came back to throw a huge party. SO the way to do it!!
They wanted a hip/fun flyer, somewhat dance club style, so they handed me a few photos & the party details & this is what I designed. Fun little project!

About 6 months back I discovered SonicLiving, and since then have used it to manage my events calendar (that I had previously done with Yahoo Cal). The creator/founder of SL, and now our friend, Gabe, has been really awesome about listening to Ali & I's various requests & feedback. And since I had forgone Yahoo Cal, one of my biggest requests was for them to create a calendar format I could publish & anyone could see. So SonicLiving going live (beta) has *finally* made this a reality for me! yay!!
It looks great Gabe & Ryan! Thank you sooo much for all your kick ass work on this! (Honestly I think I'm their biggest fan!! :) I heart SonicLiving!

I'm lazy about scanning in sketches, so today - somewhat in honor & inspired by
111 Minna's Sketch Tuesdays - I decided I'd try to snap a few photos of them, as a quick & easy way to get them into my computer & posted. It was quite fun to do... as I have SO many sketches laying in stacks of journals around here. I need to do more with them, so this is my first step.
Take a look and please leave comments to let me know if you see any that you feel would work particularly well on a t-shirt or a card, etc.

Sunday my friend
Sharon hosted a clothing swap & a bunch of us girls enjoyed tasty mimosas, quiche (thanks
hez!), cupcakes (thanks
misty!) and tried on a bunch of clothes! fun! I only snapped a few photos outside right before we all left... uh, cuz there was too much nakedness when we were trying on clothes inside! :)
Afterwards I headed over to see the peeps gathered in Dolores Park... another beautiful Sunday in the Mission!

Recount of my Saturday night:
I first met
Aaron (who is a
Bamboozled Alumni I've kept in touch with - and who designed the
new site!) @ the
Shooting Gallery for my friend
Eric Joyner's show. He paints robots & donuts - does it get cooler than that? :)
Aaron & I checked out the show & then went for dinner at a yummy Vietnamese place called Mangoteen (which oddly isn't on Yelp or Citysearch or anything - but it was sooo good!) & then I even met back up with the girls, Jess, Alice & friends @ the Gallery again!
However, shortly after I said goodbye to Aaron & then the girls, and headed over to meet Nick @ the Hemlock, where we had a few drinks before heading over to the Edinburg Castle, where the photo madness REALLY began (and so much more).
Honestly, I was laughing sooooo hard all night.... I haven't laughed all night like that in a long time. Good times!

what? what!

Thursday night I had dinner w/ my good friends Matt & Stig at
Zuni. I want to put an exclamation point there, but I won't, but "Zuni!", because I have never eaten there and I was really excited to eat the famous chicken-that-takes-one-hour-to-cook! Plus, Matt, Stig & I can all appreciate the delicious hour before it comes out where we have the opportunity to have appetizers and many, many glasses of wine. hehee!
So the dinner was AMAZING, as promised, and afterwards we decided to go to the little wine & cheese bar at
Hotel Biron next door for dessert. The super fun part of that was that I got to do some wine tasting before settling on one. That, and two words: triple cream! Stig's advice: any time it says triple cream, get that one. haha! DONE!

My *awesome* friend Mateo & I, enjoying our wine @ Hotel Biron

Connoisseur Stig & I enjoying the tasty triple cream!
After that we actually decided to go for one more drink in that neighborhood, at
Sauce, which looking back was probably a helpful catalyst in encouraging Matt & Stig to join me for the next adventure of the night: meeting all my peeps at the 500 Club! For the record: Matt & Stig are party animals! :p And if you argue with them, they will prove you wrong! haha!
All in all it turned out to be (yet another) super fun night! We're so good at this!

attack of the party monsters!

hahhaaaa! hilarious!!
View all the photos from Thursday night!
After going out Thursday night I realized yesterday I couldn't find my camera. eep!! I swear, sometimes I think I cannot be trusted with cameras anymore. The last one I spilled so much wine & alcohol on at SXSW (
photo) that it no longer snaps a flash (more like it won't even TAKE the photo if you're asking it to use the flash. aka broken). And this
new one I have already accidently dropped - actually a friend dropped it because he thought I had it when he was handing it to me (
photo). uhh, ya, alcohol can be blamed for the lack of basic motor skills on that one - so although it's working fine, the encasing on it is kinda splitting and so the side click thing to change camera modes is all loose & stuff. darnit!
Ok.. umm, so back to it being lost. I knew I had it at the 500 Club, but at one point my bag spilled everywhere (which is when I think it fell out), so I figured my friends might have seen it at the bar after I left and hopefully picked it up for me. I emailed them and sadly got two "nope"'s back. Sadness! Surely if someone found it at the bar it would be long gone. *sigh* SO I try to call the bar and look up their hours & realize I have to wait till 2. I had lunch w/ Ali & Ben @ Ali Baba's Cave - yumm - and came home and called the bar... and low & behold they had it!!!! YAY!!!! I'm the luckiest girl ever!!!
I am so putting a sticker on it right now with my contact info! Because if you think about it - if I hadn't left it there, or if someone happen to just find it randomly on the street or something, how could they get it back to me if they (were honest enough) wanted to? I am amazed it was there and I am seriously counting my lucky stars on that one!
- I've been really in my head lately it seems. But not in a bad way... kind of in a dreamy, introspective, thoughtful way. Letting life amuse me... allowing the happenstance of the moment or a thought roll through the many passages of my brain... not stopping it, just listening and observing and allowing them to be. I think I'm tired of arguing with myself and pushing myself and feeling like I'm not enough, or doing enough, in some way... and I simply just want to be, and have that be OK just the way it is. It's easier said than done... but it's working for the most part. I'm happy.
- My friend Vera quit her full time job awhile back (which is how I know her, as she is also a Flash Goddess) and is now a part-time cab driver, among other things. She just sent out one of her newsletters & announced that she's started a blog about some of her adventures being a cab driver, especially considering she is one of the few women cab drivers in the city. I read the first one today and then proceeded to read ALL of them. She's a pretty good writer and I like hearing (reading) about her awareness of her own thoughts, and the basic human interaction and adventures she has daily with complete strangers. It's kind of like a sneak peak into her unintentionally voyeuristic vantage point as a cab driver, as well as her commitment to herself to be so mindful in every interaction. Sort of a "nothing is a coincidence" POV. I dig it!
- This artist is AMAZING.
- Tips about thinking creatively in everyday life.
- You know when you read something & get such a feeling of completely relating that it gives you some warm feeling inside? Like someone else really understands some part of you and is like you in that same way... and it's comforting. That's what I felt when I read Penelope's post: "Sometimes the only thing that makes sense to me is a clean kitchen. When things feel like they are spinning out of control. So much out of my hands. When my head is full up and I don’t know where to turn… I clean the kitchen. There’s something really comforting about the act of putting away dishes, wiping the counters clean, sweeping the floor and putting out new flowers from the garden. It’s a small thing that I can fix immediately." ~
- Happy Birthday, Sarah!! xoxoxo Here's a cute little birthday cartoon for you. :p (done by the same artist who worked on Monster House, if you're into that!)
- About 2 months ago I was on a big Freaks & Geeks kick (I love that show!!). But all of a sudden I lost Disc 5. I ended up reporting it to Netflix as lost in the mail, but really hoped it would turn up at some point - mostly because I still had yet to watch it! Well on Thursday night, after I got home from a crazy night out (photos coming in the post after this), I decided to rearrange my bedroom a little. haha! Nothing like rearranging furniture at 2:30am, eh?! Considering my bed has probably been in that same spot for a good 2 years, in doing so I found a lot of little surprises. One of them being the lost DVD! yay! haha. The only other funny thing (because huge lint/hair balls are so not funny) was I found literally about 12 hairties (rubberbands) that had been lost in the cracks at one time or another. Oh & Kazoobie's favorite ball he's quite excited to be reunited with. Which leads me to my story about yesterday/lastnight. Well, maybe a few.
- For awhile there my house was quite a mess. Working from home, and then going out like a madwoman all the time, occasionally leads to my house getting a little out of control. Dishes stack up, stacks of dirty (or sometimes clean) clothes everywhere, etc. So, Wednesday night I had come home after BAM and cleaned my house like crazy. And then Thursday morning I had gotten up, finished doing dishes & did all my laundry that day - finally! So after rearranging my bedroom Thursday night, Friday morning I was all motivated to do some finishing touches on the new arrangement, which led me to a bit of Spring cleaning. woohoo! After lunch w/ Ali & Ben, I decided I wasn't being that productive at home, so after picking up my camera (yay!), I headed downtown and returned a few things (to do list: check!), and then went on a shopping spree at Old Navy. I really love Old Navy!! haha. Seriously.
- So lastnight after getting home & making dinner, I watched a little Freaks & Geeks & then descended upon my closet. Mostly because this Sunday my girlfriends & I (and many other girls I don't know, via my friend Sharon) are having a big Clothing Swap party! Oh yes... many girls running around in their bras & underwear. I'll stop there because the shrills of "aww what a cute top!" might not be as hot for you. hahaa. SO I dove in to see what clothes I should finally say goodbye to. And actually it was HARD! I have a lot of great clothes! It's funny how we can get so caught in ruts, or habits with what we wear. It made me realize I need to #1. STOP buying t-shirts and jeans. Hi! I have SO MANY! haha. I wear most of the t-shirts, but I realized I have like 14 pairs of jeans I only wear about 3 of. But I tried them on lastnight & was like OMG these are awesome! haha. So I'll have to re-evaluate the THREE new pairs I bought yesterday. hahaa. jeeshk! #2. I reorganized my closet so all my jeans are more accessible. And I put all my "I'm too fat for these right now" clothes away. *sigh* let's hope I can eventually get back into them someday!
- I smell something burning. Wouldn't that be scary if it was my downstairs neighbors house? I hope it goes away soon.
OK, I'm finally done. byeee.
"We live on the edge of the miraculous every minute of our lives. The miracle is in us, and it blossoms forth the moment we lay ourselves open to it. The miracle of miracles is the stubbornness with which men refuse to open themselves up. Our whole life seems to be nothing more but a frantic effort to evade that which is constantly in our grasp." ~Henry Miller

Monday night we all went down to enjoy art, music, drinks & tamales, courtesy of our awesome friend Buzz and his annual Webloggers party (during Apple's WWDC). It turned out to be a really fun party. Thanks Buzz!

OMG, Aubrey just uploaded her photos from Saturday night and a few of them had me laughing so frickin hard!! I've seriously been sitting here at my computer doubled over laughing my ass off with tears streaming down my face. I think some of you might know this as LOL, LMAO or ROTFL. Yup, that's what's happening over here! hahhaa.
There's this slew of me having some discussion with Kenneth that I obviously had some very strong feelings about! haha! And then with Matt's face popping up all crazy in the background of every one of them - omg.... HYSTERICAL!!

I'm pretty worn out tonite. I should be doing laundry, but I can't bring myself to do much of anything. So I just took a shower & now I'm gonna make some dinner & watch a movie! yay! Hope you all had a great weekend, too! xo
Lastnight a bunch of us girls met up for dinner at Medjool. I had never done a sit down dinner there in the restaurant, but it was sooo good! I'm craving those scallops today! mmm!

L to R: Katie, Aubs, Amy, Ali, me & Dixie @ Medjool
So dinner was fabulous and it was great to be out with just girls. But it probably goes without saying, after a few glasses of wine we were ready to go! (some of the photos on Aubrey's camera will be great here :p)
I'd heard
Brett was having a birthday party, from Becca earlier in the day, and Brett also dodgeball'd it out - so we figured, what the heck. It was just a block or so away from where we ate, in the Mission - let's go check it out! So we stopped off & grabbed a bottle of wine (which we now realize, we should have bought like 4! ha! sorry, brett! and thanks! :) and headed over there. I think we surprised Brett, but something tells me he probably wasn't
too bummed when 6 pretty girls showed up unexpectedly.

Birthday boy, Brett & his very appropriate t-shirt :D
Aubrey had already been
DayDrinking™ before dinner, so that combined with more wine provided us with endless entertainment for the evening! hehe! We love our Aubs!

Aubrey fell in love with this bear
Ali & I soon met some fellow
SonicLiving peeps (aka music freaks), I saw a few other people I knew, and the night was underway! Then a few other friends, who had seen my Dodgeball, showed up & made the party even MORE fun!

woohooo! lulu is here!

gun show

Brett & his ladies

aww yaa, we're professionals
In summary, we had another ridiculously fun night. Our lives rule!
Happy Birthday, Brett & thanks for hosting a great party! xoxo

we are SERIOUS

As many of you may or may not know, I met Harry over a year ago, in May 2005, on a crazy night in New York's Lower East Side. Somehow we kept in touch & now we've seen eachother at a number of huge events (SXSW & Coachella) - and he's a major part of my circle of friends! yay!
Harry still lives in NY, but lucky for us he's been out here visiting this month & we've been having a great time out & about! Lastnight we all gathered at (aka took over) Lucky 13's to celebrate Harry & it was a BLAST!!

Birthday boy sandwich!

Marshall & me! FUN!
Lastnight also kicked ass because I finally got to reunite w/ my old friend Marshall, who I've know since Junior High (Steamboat, CO) & we probably haven't seen each other in ~ 10 years! AWESOME! xoxo
Here's the full photo album! :) Thanks for another kick ass night out on the town, peeps!

things I am powerless against:
- hunky arms on men. yumm.
- aquarius and libras. i heart you. come find me. let's make out.
testing out this beta widget thing alice is working on..... so ya, uh... let me know what it comes up with for you - are you compatible w/ me? boy, let's hope so! haha :) UPDATE: hi. I took down the widget, even though it inspired some awesome comments from you all! woohoo! :)
I believe in astrology, but that one was a little extreme for my taste. I recommend
astrologyzone.com for horoscopes (ooh & it's a new month now, so I can go read the new one that's posted! yay! :p), but also check out the compatibility "Matchmaker by Sign" thing on the front page. There you can REALLY see if we're a match (I'm a Gemini). :p
Alright... back to work (well, after I read my new horoscope).
