an update on kazoo

For those of you who have been sending your positive healing thoughts to my kitty, thank you!! You've been doing such a great job that my fuzzy lil' boy's tail has been healing lightspeed fast!

Some of you may have heard about how ~5 days after Kazoo got stitches I noticed they had come out and the flap of skin they had tried to stitch on, was hanging off exposing the deep wound (photo). So I called the vet & by the time we talked, 24 hours later, I noticed it was scabbing up pretty good. So we decided, instead of the chaos of bringing him in again, we'd just extend the antibiotics Rx & keep a close an eye on it. The flap fell off about 24 hours later, and since then the scab has just been getting smaller and smaller (photo from today < not that gross).
