tuesday is the new friday.

or maybe it's the new Thursday, considering I stay home a lot of Friday nights after going to shows a couple other nights over the course of a week? Yikes, that last sentence hurts my head. So anyway - Tuesday, ya know? Tuesday RULES! :p

It all started like most any other Tuesday: we have a kick ass show to hit. The Walkmen @ GAMH. aww yaaa. This time, double the k.a. cuz it's our boyfriend Hamilton! *sigh* we love him. And I couldn't stop thinking dirty thoughts about him the entire time he was up there performing. yumm! Oh how I wished he would have joined us at the Hemlock afterwards. :) But I'm getting ahead of myself...

So, guess who was in town lastnight for "one night only"? (however, if we have anything to say about that - he'll be staying for the weekend in order to be here for my birthday party!) Erik Benson! Erik is the funny boy whom I roomed with at SXSW and who also is the creative madman behind the Morale-o-Meter (that I've been posting to pretty regularly), AND he's one of the silly scientists behind 43places/people/things! In short, it was none other than E.Benson in da houuuuse!

hahhaa... I just realized what I wrote there & cracked up on IM w/ Ali, but she insists I leave it there.

So Erik's in town, and our rocktastic show ends and we cruise over to meet up with all the peeps at the Hemlock. At this point it's me, Ryan, Ali, John, Erik, Jess, Buzz, Kristin & Michael, MJ, Brett, Michael Sharon (from NY who I met at SXSW!) and manlio (who graciously let me steal his camera for a bit since my flash is broken! photos to come are posted! thanks manlio!) and more! There were a lot of peeps there - so fun!

So anyway... we close down the Hemlock and Erik & I decide to crash at Ali's, and on the way home we decide to get donuts at Bob's! YUMM! I have a rule that I learned from my exbf Matt a long time ago, always go with whatever's the freshest out of the oven (or actually the fryer, cuz they're donuts!). To have it warm like that is soooo dreamy. Lucky me it was an apple fritter. Actually at the moment I didn't care - cuz really, is there ever a bad donut? :)

After having some deliciousness I had to deal w/ where my car was parked for the night, and THANKFULLY my uber helpful friends Kristin & Michael took care of it for me - yay!! you guys rule! But then the funniest part is the drunken blogging that transpired when we got back to Ali's. :) So I until more photos get posted, I will leave you with these:
