happy birthday hez & ali!!
My two beautiful girlfriends Hez & Ali just celebrated another year of being FABULOUS! We all helped on Saturday night with yummy food, many drinks, tons of friends and lots of laughs! SO much fun!!About 10 of us had dinner @ the Octavia Lounge first. They had tasty drinks, and it was awesome of them to accomodate us when our group went from 20 to 10, but personally I thought they were pretty slow & disorganized at times. I was the one who booked it because it's so conveniently close, but now I know.. it's a little too pricey & I actually could do w/o listening to jazz at dinner. Especially when you're ready for a rockin night @ the Lucky 13! I'd go back if I was on a date though, cuz then they'd (hopefully) pay, and the jazz in the background might be better for a romantic dinner vs a bunch of indie rock music snobs. haha! That said, it was pretty yummy, which is good for birthdays no matter what!
A HUGE thanks to Misty for being the kick ass birthday party organizer for these two girls! You're so awesome woman, and we are all SO lucky to have you as a friend! xoxo
