We were waaaaaay up in the balcony, so all of my photos are pretty far away. These two shots above are cropped in on a few of them, but the ones in the album aren't cropped like this... but you get the idea, right? :)

Besides being far away, it was really wonderful to see her live. I absolutely love the more "cute" sound she has on Extraordinary Machine (the song)... it'd be interesting to hear her do an album more like Joanna Newsom, or Nellie McKay. However, I realize as soon as I think that, that it would no longer be Fiona! Anyway, she was very sweet and real, which is always refreshing. Listening to her songs, and hearing her talk about what prompted her to write them, reminds me that we're all human... we all fuck up & have heartache... and we're all just trying to figure out how to put one foot in front of the other, not care so much about what other people think of us, and move on with our lives. It was great to see my girls Jem & Tania, the other apples! :) and p.s. thanks again for scoring us tix!
