silkscreening!
Darren (boykani.com) & I have been saying we're going to do some silkscreening for awhile now - and yesterday we finally had a date set to do it!It was a first for both of us, so although they didn't turn out as good as we may have wanted, we learned a lot and had a good time hangin out.

It was rad rappin w/ him about painting and we both are way into artists like Tiffany Bozic, Sam Flores, etc. Darren has actually turned me on to a lot of art and techniques. I'm stoked to have him as a creative buddy!
I got to check out some of the sweet books he has (and I have wanted!) like Pictoplasma, and we even watched the Fifty24SF Dithers DVD that I've been wanting to see while we were doing our first step of the silkscreen painting.
Darren also has a button maker that I'm jealous of and will probably buy myself one for Christmas. The whole day was rad. Or as Darren would say: Siiiiiiiick. ;)
