Are your seatbelts securely fastened?
Stewardess night was a HIT! Michelle & Brigette picked me up & we met up with all the rest of the girls at Delirium. One by one the girls arrived... straight off a flight and ready to party! It was Jane, Hillary, Alana, Erica, Michelle, Molly, Lucia, Kat and I.The cool thing was is that between all our "uniforms", we had spanned the decades! Molly & Jane were our 60's girls... They looked fantastic! I was so jealous of their tall white boots! I was the 70's with my bright polyester blue dress and hot pink scarf, and the other girls were more 80's & 90's - with Michelle and Erica looking impressively just like current day flight attendants.
Oh! And no group of stewardesses is complete without our passenger safety cards, barf bags and wings! Represent!!
Everyone in the bars loved it - we had people coming up to us sayin that everyone was talking about us to eachother "Have you seen the stewardesses yet?!"
And many actually thought we were real! Our story was that we had all had our training together and now work for seperate airlines... but we all just happened to touch down in San Francisco tonite for one night! They wanted to believe. It was beautiful, really.
We left Delirium and headed over to Casanova Lounge where we made a grand entrance - all 9 of us marching in "marking the exits" and demonstrating how to follow along with the passenger safety cards. A girl at the bar was loving every bit of it and had the funniest laugh that was cracking me up... and by the end of the night her friend even bought us drinks since we'd been "so entertaining" :) ha!
Around 12:30 we met up with Jee and finished off the night at our old standby, the LAC and by that time we were having sooo much fun.
We all can't wait to do it again!!
