Let's get together & DRAW!!!
Friday night we went to the COOLEST thing I've ever been to... The Monster Drawing Rally. Over 100 artists drawing live (in one hour rotations) + loud music and drinks... I was in heaven!!!!!!!! I wished I'd been there soakin it up for all 4 hours.. but instead we'd had dinner at the Slow Club beforehand & didn't get to the gallery till about 9:30. I watched Sirron Norris and Damon Soule draw for a bit... and many more... but was bummed I missed Kelly Tunstall drawing live.
Overall it was like my dream!!! I always just wanna sit & draw with people & watch them draw. It was soooo frickin cool. I was really into it :)
After that we hit Punch Gallery (BD4D) - where I was PSYCHED to see Kozyndan's work - Wes, Jee & I wanted to buy a print of theirs so bad. Design is Kinky was just finishing up a presentation by the time we got there... again I'd wished I'd been there the whole time to soak it all up.
After that we went over to the Cat Club which by surprise got us all dancing to Industrial music that took us all back to our high school rave days when Industrial was so 'in'.
Right now I'm listenin to The New Pornographers and Cinerama, getting ready for the show on Tuesday :)
